Waste Wood for Good is an international collaboration between universities in many of  the Nordic countries. The project was in its starting phase, and is aimed at exploring the total value of waste wood materials in all aspects. Using wood will play an important role in working towards a carbon free future, and using waste materials also has clear economic and environmental benefits. Until now the documentation of its benefits has focused almost solely on metric values such as the environmental and economical ones. This projects seeks to create a more holistic understanding of the value of waste wood, and will focus much more on other aspects such as architectural, aesthetic and cultural values.
